Standard TRIP EVENT Schedule (subject to change)
Join Under the Influence Ministries in Transforming Lives
- Friday/Saturday: Fly out (Thursday if remote destination)
- Saturday/Sunday: Arrive, bus to hotel, preach at churches*
- Monday: Minister in schools (7am-4pm), Women's Conference** (3pm); Volunteers' Conference (6:30-9pm)
- Tuesday – Wednesday: Minister in schools (7am-4pm), Volunteers' Conference (6:30-9pm)
- Thursday: Minister in schools (7am-4pm), minister at Crusade (7-9:30pm)
- Friday: Humanitarian aid and evangelism (7am-2pm), minister at Crusade (7pm-9:30pm)
- Saturday: Minister at Leaders' Conference or Children's Crusade** (9am), minister at Youth Conference (2pm), minister at Crusade (7pm-9:30pm)
- Sunday: Team rest, preach in churches*, Men's event** (2pm), or travel if remote. If going on to a second city, bus to next hotel and repeat schedule.
- Monday: Fly out/travel
- Tuesday: Fly home and share your testimonies of what God has done!
* Times vary. Brazil church services are at night. They are usually in the morning elsewhere. When travel prohibits, local teams will minister at the churches, instead.
** Women's, Men's and Children's events are elective and may be rescheduled or omitted.

When you've been accepted for a trip, click here to create your Managed Missions login and set up your prayer and fundraising page. This is an easy way to ask for prayer and get donated funds into your mission trip account.

PRO TRAVEL TIP: Take a photo of that barcode on the inside back cover of your passport and keep it on your phone. It is the single best piece of information you can send in to the US government if you ever lose your passport.

If you have not been on a UTIM mission trip in the past year — or if you gotten a new passport or driver's license since your last rip with us — please send a clear photo or scan of your passport and state ID to: carolyn.smith@undertheinfluenceministries.org. Make sure the pictures are high resolution, and follow the simple photo tips below.

ID Guidelines:
- Passport must be valid six months after the mission trip ends. Every country has differing rules on this, and this is our standard.
- Driver's License must be valid one month after the mission trip ends.
- Other requirements may apply for entry into your destination, including visas or immunizations. If that is the case, we will inform you to lead you through any actions you may need to take.
Photo Guidelines:
- Large pictures with good resolution, only. No .HEIC or other compressed images, please.
- No fingers or other objects in the picture (open your passport very widely to keep it open).
- No information covered or omitted from the photo.
- No glare. All information completely readable.

We’re here to help you get your visa. Please read the steps in the next section carefully — they’re very important. This could decide whether you are able to get on the plane after all your hard work, prayer, and fundraising. We don’t want you to miss the trip!
how to submit a good picture for a visa
Going to Brazil or another country that needs a visa? We’ll help with the visa, but we need a special photo from you.
A passport photo sometimes does not work for a visa. If the photo is not right, you may not be able to go on the trip. So, please get a new photo taken just for the visa. We have a simple Visa Photo Checklist. Bring it with you when you go to take your picture. Show it to the person taking your photo. This helps them make sure the photo meets all the rules.
Instructions:
- High resolution, colored photo with a white background sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm (413 x 531
pixels), - No head coverings, No spectacles.
- Shoulders inside the picture.
- Space above head.
- Face in center of photo.
- Look directly at the camera lens with visible shoulders and unobstructed ears.
- No smiling or showing teeth.
- Ensure that you wear proper attire.
- Head and chin are not cropped in the photo.
- Do not use/crop your photo from your passport Bio page.
E-Visa Requirement List (please send in with photo):
- Your full name
- Your permanent address
- Date, City and State that you were born
- Full names, places and dates of birth of each of your parents at the time of their own births (full maiden name for mother).
- Previous nationalities of self and/or parents if applicable.
- Last time you were in the country to which we are travelling, including length of trip and arrival and departure dates
- Marital Status
- Personal Email
- Profession or Occupation
- Visa Photo (White background, not smiling, no glasses, no hats or caps) 2MB file
- Passport Bio Page: high quality scan or photo (No angle, no fingers or other items visible on the picture/scan, no background, only the information) 2MB file
